The good: When we walked inside I was caught off guard by how beautifully structured the building is. The building itself is very high end. It was very busy inside. Vibes are great. The not so good: The food was a bit underwhelming. Lacking some flavor as well as the meat being rather dry. We did have to wait a while before we were greeted by a host, but they were very busy so it’s understandable. In summary: I think there’s a lot of potential for this to be an amazing place, however I think there’s room for improvement. We will be back soon!

This building has a cool atmosphere inside and out. They give complimentary tortilla chips that were very good. The pork belly bites had a good guac and very decent amount of food for an appetizer, but the pork belly was a little dry and lacking flavor. I was disappointed with my burrito as it did not include rice or beans inside, but that was my own fault for not reading the menu carefully. The paella was delicious and flavorful! I only wish it had more shrimp. The portions here are rather large and you could very easily share them or take leftovers home.

Had to come while we were in town visiting family after loving Los Zarapes for so many years. It was wonderful! Everything was beautiful design wise and the food was exactly what we’d hoped for. So glad we had time to make the stop, it’s great seeing so many years of effort turn out so well.

Atmosphere and Service was very good. I wish the food was the same. As a family we ordered Birria Empanadas in which they came to us with raw dough. Also we ordered Birria's tacos. The tacos like the Empanadas were dry and lacked flavor. Birria meat lacked flavor and was dry without any moisture in it at all, tasted just like pot roast. Our last dish we ordered was Steak Burrito which the meat was also dry but did have flavor. There also was no consumme given with my tacos. Prices were really good just wish the food represented all the hype

Food very good. Service was friendly and attentive. We went at lunch so it wasn't very crowded at all. The lunch specials are reasonably priced. The wall of flickering candles could be a bit distracting, but overall the atmosphere is nice.

What a great restaurant to have in Mahomet. Upon arrival, the design of the building grabs you right away, and then all of the little details—the custom benches. Then you step inside and can’t help but say ‘Wow!’. The wall of candles is such a striking first impression, as is the rest of the building, including the custom light fixtures, and other metalwork around the space. Lots of little details to take in. There is a neat sculptural fountain installation in part of the dining area. It is a restaurant—service was fast, friendly, and attentive. The opening chips and house salsa is tasty. The menu has standard fare as well as some other specialties I would love to try in the future. I went with the carne asada tacos, cilantro/onion and lime. Wonderfully cooked, great flavor. We came for lunch and the food arrived fast. If I had a wish it would be for a salsa option for the tacos. Very pleased with my first visit and I look forward to returning.

Hacienda Rebollo has one of the coolest atmospheres I have seen in the area. The interior was stunning. While the food was good, it was the atmosphere and service that made it a wonderful experience.
